A Chair-itable Act

You know, my dears, our friend Ted has been on a bit of a journey lately. He’s been working with Oli on being a little less mischievous and a little more helpful, and he’s been doing a pretty good job, if I do say so myself. In fact, he’s even taken up a little project to repair a broken chair, as a way to give back and show his appreciation.

Now, Ted’s not exactly known for his patience, but he’s been taking his time with this chair, carefully fixing each piece and learning the value of hard work and focus. And while he’s been at it, he’s also been thinking about how he can repair some of the hurt he’s caused in the past. It’s been a real growth experience for him, and Auntie couldn’t be more proud.

But, of course, this is Ted we’re talking about, and things never go quite as planned. Despite Oli and us Aunties warning him not to sit on the chair until it was fully repaired, Ted just couldn’t resist. And wouldn’t you know it, the chair collapsed under his weight, and he got himself stuck good and proper. It took some doing, but we finally managed to get him out, and the look on his face was priceless.

So, you see, my dears, even when Ted is trying to do the right thing, there’s always a bit of mischief and mayhem involved. But that’s just Ted being Ted, and we wouldn’t have him any other way.
